South Florida is not pretty or scenic. We drove down to Homestead and then onto US 1 to go to the Keys. Traffic was heavy going north; not bad going south. The road did not become scenic until after Islamorada Key. The water was six shades of blue. It never fails to amaze me.
Our campground is nice but sites are quite close together. The pool is nice and there is a nice beach area.
Tomorrow we are off to Key West.
