Once on I-95 the rain started. It rained through Georgia and the road construction.
When we got to Florida, we thought that perhaps with all the rain and bad weather we might have a chance to get into the campground near St. Augustine, Anastasia, but no such luck. So we continued down the road to the Faver-Dykes SP. We wondered where we would end up. A mile and a half of dirt road until we reached the campground. Much to our surprise, we have a paved campsite ( it is a disability site). Quick work to set up. The bathroom and showers are a short walk away.
We ended the day by driving south to dinner and the grocery store. On the advice of our friend Ken, we bought the bourbon marinated salmon for dinner tomorrow night. On our way back into the park we saw lots of deer. There are supposed to be bobcats here, along with turkeys, various hawks and other critters.
