April 15, 2009 Sugarloaf Key to Miami/Everglades

Here we are leaving Sugarloaf Key.

We headed north deciding to look for a dive shop to buy snorkel gear of our own. Our experience using other snorkeling gear has not been satisfactory since our Snorkel Bob experience in Hawaii. We came to Key Largo and found Divers World, where a very nice sales person helped us to pick out a mask and snorkel that would work for us. We also bought the stuff you put into the mask to keep it from fogging up. Now we just need a place to snorkel!

We found our campground west of Miami in farm and nursery country. It was once a KOA and now a Legacy Resort campground. Very nice with clean showers and a nice pool, laundry facilities and store. Did the laundry, caught up with the blog and emails and watched TV.
